Ballet costume wearing steps

The wearing steps of Lei clothing include warming up with warm equipment during the warm-up stage and gradually reducing clothing during the assembly stage. ‌
During the warm-up phase, dancers typically engage in a few minutes of full body activity to awaken their bodies and prepare for the upcoming exercises. At this stage, dancers wrap themselves tightly, adhering to the principles of lightweight warmth and easy to put on and take off. Leg guards, loose sportswear, and down jackets are common choices that do not affect the flexibility of limbs and can effectively keep warm. ‌
As the practice progresses, especially after completing combinations such as Plie and Tendu, dancers will gradually remove their thermal equipment from their bodies. They determine when to reduce their clothing based on bodily signals such as slight sweating and body heat. The process of reducing clothing is also gradual, not all at once, but gradually reducing clothing, such as taking off jackets or leg guards, until finally only wearing body clothes for practice. This gradually adjusted dressing style ensures that dancers can maintain an appropriate temperature during practice while also demonstrating ballet movements flexibly and freely. ‌
In general, when wearing ballet costumes, it is not only important to pay attention to warmth and comfort, but also to consider the body's reactions and movement needs during practice. Through reasonable dressing adjustments, dancers can achieve their best state during practice
